For over 20 years Rory Walter offered animals of all kinds
a place to recover from
lives that had often been harrowing.
Most of the animals she cared for had been
victims of abuse, turned in by local citizens
and county agencies as an alternative to euthanasia.
There were no cages or kennels, just the necessary fencing and lots of love.
Dogs, cats, goats, pigs, horses, llamas, cows, mules ... all lived like one big family.
All Creatures Home For Animals has experienced a terrible breakdown.
It has been closed and there is a great deal of misinformation and controversy involved.
Nothing can negate the years of dedication and skill with which Rory cared for her friends. .
