Calling All Artists

In honor of our old-fashioned pie-making tradition,
Sweetie Pies of Fish Creek announces its Fourth Annual High Roller Contest.

Local artists are asked to decorate an original rolling pin to display in our shop for the summer season!
Artists are welcome to craft their own 3D rolling pin from any art material or to decorate an already existing one.
Salute the arts in the county, while adding some fun and creativity to Sweetie Pies' vintage bakery shop space!
All artists who enter will have:

  • summerlong exposure for their work,
  • the option of putting up their pin for silent auction from May until October of 2009
  • receive a coupon for a FREE slice of pie
  • be eligible by popular vote for the publicized "High Roller Award" presented to the county's favorite rolling pin!

    Sweetie Pies is located in the Settlement Shops on Highway 42
    We make our pies from scratch the old-fashioned way, using real rolling pins!
    Winter Hours are 10 am - 4 pm on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays.
